My husband and I did a food and drinks tour with Jorge and had an amazing time! It was the perfect way to experience parts of the city we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. He was knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and shared interesting insights about different historical sites and neighborhoods as we walked between stops. He was very friendly and made amazing food and drink recommendations based on what we said we like and what he knows is good. The stops were all different locally owned restaurants, cantinas, and bars and we went to an amazing food market where he helped us sample local Mexican fruits. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide to spend the day with! Booking was incredibly easy, Geri is also so friendly and lovely and even helped us get a restaurant reservation for another night! This is a can’t miss experience!

Jorge did a great job with this tour. He took us to a very authentic Yucatán restaurant with delicious panuchos that I will remember for the rest of my life. We also went to a bar where he showed us how to take La Bandera shots of the Mexican flag! One of my favorite parts was going to a local Mexican art museum and learning about the local art and culture. I would recommend Jorge’s tour to anyone looking for a friendly and knowledgeable local guide.

Spending the day exploring Mexico City with Jorge was a highlight of our trip. It felt relaxed and personal, not rushed or scripted, and gave us a real sense of the city beyond the usual sights. Jorge has an incredible feel for where to go — especially when it comes to food. Every stop was thoughtful and memorable, especially the late night local taco stop that we never would’ve found on our own. For anyone who wants to authentically experience Mexico City, fueled by amazing food and XL margaritas, this is an experience I’d recommend!

What really set it apart was the food. Jorge took us to incredible restaurants and spots we never would have found on our own — lots of low-key, local gems with margaritas the size of our heads and some of the most delicious tacos our taste buds have ever met.
